Le
t me begin my review of the Super Cantenna WiFi Booster Antenna by telling you my woeful story of why I started my search for such a product.

There we were in Las Vegas's premiere RV resort, The Oasis, and had booked in for 1 week. We paid for the WiFi cost of a week and were thrilled at the convieniance. Then we needed to stay another week to take care of biz and was told we would have to move to another spot. No prob...right? Well we moved and paid for another week of WiFi service. When I went to get online, as usual, I was taken to a page that had me click a box that said I agreed to  the terms and conditions, then I clicked next and to my surprise I did not have enough signal to connect. What to do? I went to the office and spoke to their (snotty) IT guy. His responce was, "Did you click the I accept box?" I answered, "Yes, you cannot get in if you don't." He then said, "Well when you clicked I agree, you agreed to a "no refund" clause." "Well," I said, "you cannot see if you are in range, or not, until you click the "I Agree Box", and when I did that, I was not in range of your antenna." "Too bad" he says to me, "You agreed, You pay." His saving grace was that I could come into the office with my laptop and reach the WiFi from there. I did not want to do that and I was screwed out of $19.95. Lesson learned. I became parinoid of WiFi charging RV parks!

WiFi Antenna connected to laptop computerWell I went on an Internet research fix, BIG TIME! Hawkins USB Connect Card

This is what I came up with, and have tried it out for you. The Super Cantenna WiFi Booster.

We ordered the WiFi booster antenna and all needed parts. Which for us included the Hawkins USB Laptop Connect Card for MacsThere is a different Hawkins USB Connect Card for Windows (Call and talk to someone at this number 888-509-9434 if you are not sure of what you need.)

The package arrived and we set about implementing our needed fix. We ordered the Super Cantenna Kit and the Hawkins USB laptop connector. An extension comes with the Super Cantenna Kit so that we could point it from whatever window was neccassary from our coach to reach any extenal WiFi antenna. The software was easy to install and was VERY user friendly to figure out the connect. Know that the software is a stand alone and does not use your current WiFi card or, if you are on an Apple computer, your Airport Card.

So my package arrived, I set about configuring it and, Ta-Dah!, it was a simple task!. Plug-and-play. With-in minutes I was in reach of my current RV Park WiFi station!. But to my surprise, not only was I reaching my WiFi signal, but I was being "boosted" in strength! Wow! I did'nt expect that! I am SPOILED with speed forever!! I can do video chats, download VERY large video files, upload large video files, use my VOIP phone, or whatever I want at blazing fast speeds!

I will NEVER again be parinoid about being able to reach a WiFi antenna again!
