The vital ingredient

Here is a radical thought —an on the road couple needs to have a communication system they trust. It is hard to walk out and slam the door when traveling the freeway at 65 miles per hour. Perhaps one wants to hike a “nature” trail in a national park, and the other would rather spend the time finishing a novel. They need to be able to — safely— suggest that each has the right to spend their life, as they feel best. These needs/words need to be discussed in a no blame/shame/guilt dialog. Day-in, day-out, partnership requires thought/understanding for the others feelings. Think of your journey as going on an endless honeymoon.

So, it really comes down to this. With the exception of the amazing single gal so competent she is traveling by herself (we haven’t seen many single men doing so) your partner is the most important RV traveler equipment. Make sure the make and model fits.
