In retrospect, retuning years later to Moab, and what had become Arches National Monument, what was exciting was the spirit of the land.

And that is what happened last night.

An awakening
I realized that I truly had made the distance from an anxious boy to a wiser older man by living in the environment of the creator.

Don’t take that as a religious statement.
It truly has to do with the purpose of traveling on, and difficult to comprehend without having done so.

The feeling is exactly the same as watching the sun set off of Maui, or Mallory Square in the Florida Keys.
